At HandiVan Rentals, we’re passionate about making travel accessible for everyone. We’re a locally owned and operated business in Cleveland, Ohio, dedicated to providing reliable and affordable wheelchair accessible vehicle rentals.
You may have heard of our sister company Stay At Home Vehicle Modifications.
Stay at Home Vehicle Modifications is a Medicaid Waiver provider offering wheelchair accessible vehicle modifications to Waiver consumers in Ohio.
We understand that not everyone has the funding available to purchase their own vehicle for modification or may not need a wheelchair accessible vehicle on a regular basis. HandiVan Rentals was born as a result of our customers stating that they would desire a short-term vehicle rental solution for those times when Paratransit cannot serve their needs, or when wheelchair users would like to attend events in the evenings or weekends when Paratransit is either not available, or not conducive to their travel plans. (Think Mother’s day, attending a wedding or other special event, or when your own wheelchair accessible vehicle is in the shop for repairs.)
We realize that planning a trip with accessibility needs can sometimes feel overwhelming. That’s why we strive to make the rental process as easy and stress-free as possible.
